Potential Mural
Roosevelt Park, Burlington VT
Burlington Girls & Boys Club
I was commissioned by the Boys and Girls club of Burlington to design and paint this mural with a team of teen club members. From 2014-2015, I worked with youth to design a 2,000 sq ft exterior mural in Burlington's Roosevelt Park. Each wall represents a theme.
This is the South Wall representing safety and transformation. At the pinnacle of the roof is a guardian angel dog looking over the neighborhood. Club youth are pictured as well as project donors and to the right is Champ, an iconoic figure for this region.
A glimpse of the West wall appears, of which the theme is growth and perserverance. A radiating sun is located at the center of this wall. Youth appear along the wall in a variety of career roles.
